Choice Lunch ProgramFourth grade parents it’s your turn to assist with our lunch program. If you are interested in earning lunch credit for your child please call the school office ASAP. You need to be fingerprinted and attend the Virtus class.
Reconciliation WorkshopSecond grade students and their parents are required to attend a reconciliation workshop on Saturday, January 15. Please meet us in the church promptly at 9:15 a.m.
PTO Mandatory Meeting
Our third general parent mandatory meeting is next Wednesday, January 12. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. in the parish hall.
Parent Updates Up-dates for parent obligations will be given by the end of January. Up-dates will include parent service hours, parish fiesta hours, PTO mandatory meetings, raffle, and tuition & scrip up to the end of December will be included in the up-dates.
Pertussis Immunization RequirementEnclosed is a flyer from the State of California immunization requirements for students that are 10 years and older.
Teacher Luncheon We would like to thank Mrs. Hogan, Mrs. Garcia and all the 5th grade parents for providing the wonderful Mexican lunch. The teachers and staff enjoyed the lunch.
School BookkeeperJoin us in welcoming our new part-time school bookkeeper, Sister Loretta Hubl, BVM.
Sister Loretta will start this Wednesday, January 5. She will only work on Wednesdays.
Catholic Schools Week This year’s theme is “Catholic Schools: A+ For America,” which celebrates the fact that Catholic schools are an added value for our nation. Because of their traditionally high academic stands and high graduation rates, all supported by strong moral values, Catholic schools and their graduates make a significant contribution to American society.
We begin our Catholic School Week celebrations at the 9:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, January 30.
Followed by entertainment after the 9:00 a.m. Mass.
Open House will start a12:00 Noon. Our Scholastic Book Fair will be open during the Open House.
Santa’s Workshop We would like to thank Mrs. Jose and her committee of parents that did a great job at the workshop. We extend a special thank
you to Mr. & Mrs. Duke for the donations to the event.
Discovering Our Faith Please join us for our fifth lecture on Discovering our Faith. The lecture will be on The Identity and Mission of the Holy Spirit and The Holy Spirit in History. The lecture will be held on Tuesday, January 11 in the parish hall from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.
e-ScripSt. Dominic School will be participating in the January Edition of the 10% Goes Back to School promotion. This is an easy opportunity for us to earn thousands of dollars.
