Catholic Elementary Schools Move to 200-Day School
A letter from our superintendent, Kevin Baxter was given out last Thursday to all school families. The letter explained our Catholic elementary schools moving to a 200 day calendar school year for 2011-2012 or the following school year.

The benefits for students are clear-more time in a quality school setting equal greater academic success. The calendar school year would start by August 16 and school must conclude by June 30. An approximate 10% increase in instructional time will result in a 10% increase in salaries for staff, as well as an anticipated increase in tuition cost.

Enclosed is a survey for your input. Please complete the survey by Friday, February 4. Your input is important for planning our school year. Thank you in advance for your support and understanding.

School Choir
No choir this week. All choirs will begin again NEXT WEEK. Easter music has not arrived yet.
