Parking Lot
The parking lot will be rented out on Wednesday, January 26 from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. They will also be using both sides of the street.
No valet drop-off Wednesday, January 26. The barriers will not open at 7:30 a.m.

Progress Reports
Students with a “C” in a core subject or below will receive a progress report this Wednesday, January 26. Progress reports were due to go out this Monday, January 24. Our internet was out for over a week and we needed a few days to input grades. Thank you for your support and understanding.
Beautification Day
We want to thank the ten Oxy students, Mrs. Tiomico, Mr. Campos, Mrs. Palacios, Mr. & Mrs. Ruiz, and Mr. & Mrs. Koenig, for volunteering to clean and paint in our school Saturday, January 22. All restrooms, corridor, student store, and physical education office doors were beautifully painted. Flowers were planted and trees trimmed by Mary’s grotto and by the front office.
Teacher Luncheon
We want to thank the fourth grade parents for providing a delicious Italian lunch for the teachers and staff. Teachers are delighted to be appreciated.
School Choir
School Choirs are asked to sing at the 9:00 a.m. Sunday Mass on January 30, the start of Catholic Schools Week. We will also sing a song right after Mass in the school yard.
Choir attire: school uniforms
No Thursday choirs this week (January 20). From now on, choirs are just Tuesdays 7:30-8:00 a.m. & 3:10-4:00 p.m. or Thursdays 7:30-8:00 a.m. No after-school Thursday any more.
Catholic Schools Week Mass
Join us for the 9:00 a.m. Mass. Our student council and school choir will participate in Mass. All our students are asked to attend the 9:00 a.m. Mass and wear their complete uniform.
85th Anniversary celebration begins at 10:15 a.m. in the school yard. Performance by our choir and faculty will be part of our presentation.
Open House starts at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
We invite all current and new incoming students to our Open House.
Book Fair will be open during Open House.
IN-N-OUT Family Day
Please join us for Family Day and order your IN-N-OUT meals by Friday, January 28. Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. starting with the lower grade students.
Parish Nurse
Nurse Mary Ann Laurente and Vanessa Fierro are finished with vision and hearing screening. All students in kinder, second, fifth, eighth and referrals passed the hearing screening. Many students in kinder, second, fifth, seventh, and referrals received letters for follow-up with their own eye doctors. If
you do not have health insurance please call the school office for the Queen Care number.
Casino Night Aiming for the Stars
Your invitation for the Casino Night is enclosed. School parents have an obligation to purchase the $75.00 whether you attend or not able to attend. Please confirm to the school office by February 18th.
Jeans Day
Students are allowed to wear jeans this Friday, January 28 and pay $1.00. Any extra accessory is $1.00. Proceeds go to our marketing efforts of St. Dominic School .
Need Service Hours
Our stage needs to be set-up on Saturday afternoon for our 85th anniversary celebration. If you are able to help with set- up please call the school office ASAP.
Lunch Program
We need third grade parents that are interested in volunteering to serve for February to call the school ASAP. You need to be finger printed and attend Virtus training.
