Title I Parent Workshop
We have had two excellent evening workshops for parents presented by Catapult Learning. At the first workshop, parents learned about their children’s preferred learning styles, how t assess what times of the afternoon or evening are ideal for homework, and techniques to assist their children based on their preferred learning style. At the second workshop, parents discussed with each other their own techniques for problem solving and learned how to include their children in solving and discussing everyday tasks that require problem solving skills.

We have had very positive feedback from the parents who have attended these workshops. The next two will be on Tues. Oct. 11 (Reading With Your Child), and Tues. Oct. 18 (Writing With Your Child). The same presenter, Rebekah Wings, will lead these next two sessions. These workshops are made available to us through Title I funds.
