St. Dominic School’s
Student TV Central
St. Dominic will be hosting a
student TV Central. Starting next week you can access this video hub from our
current website www.stdominicla.us where we will post
videos featuring the events and news about St. Dominic School. We will post
video messages directly from our principal and teachers, PTO information, and
most importantly we will share videos of student activities-such as field
trips, sporting events, and assemblies. We will post weekly video bulletins for
you to view at home, work, or wherever you chose.
Academic Decathlon
Congratulations to our Academic
Decathlon team for bringing home a trophy after placing 19th overall
out of 116 schools at Saturday’s annual Junior High Academic Decathlon at the
LA Sports Arena! The ten students who competed each received a medal for this
achievement and two students received individual medals as well. 7th
grader Cristina Gonzales placed 4th in Literature and 8th
grader Angela De Leon placed 10th in Fine Arts. None of this would
have been possible without the dedication of our coaches and the hard-working
support team of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.
Thank you also to the parents who organized the lunch and respectfully followed
all the Sports Arena and Decathlon Committee rules.
