                                                                    Walk-a-Thon
The Walk-A-Thon is on Sat. May 4.
There will be a walk-a-thon planning meeting this Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Please join us as we plan a FUN Walk-a-Thon for our children and school!

Walk-a-Thon
The $75.00 mandatory fundraising money is now due in the school office.

Scrip Sale
Please take a moment and look through the scrip order form for your weekly shopping needs or for a gift card. We have a wide variety of scrip for everyone.  Special orders are taken in the office. Complete the Scrip order form, attach a check or cash, and your order will be filled. This is an easy way to help the school earn money. Thank you!

Testing
We are now at the last round of testing for new students. We test Monday through Thursday; there is no testing on Friday. If you have a child who will be entering 1st-8th grade and who is not currently enrolled, please call the school office and arrange an appointment for testing.

Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten
Please call Ms. Angela at (323) 255-5803 if you have a student entering Transitional Kindergarten (the child must be four years old by Dec. 1) or Kindergarten (the child must be five years old by Dec. 1) to set up an appointment for an interview.

The interview will take about 15 minutes. If your child is currently in St. Dominic preschool or pre-K, there is no application fee; there is a $75.00 application fee for new families applying to Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten.

Community Clean-Up
Once again our St. Dominic School Marketing Team is working hard to promote our school. With the help of our 8th grade volunteers, they will again be joining forces with CERB (Collaborative Eagle Rock Beautiful) to clean up our community on Sat. April 27, from 9 a.m.- noon. Everyone will grab their brooms and trash bags at Eagle Rock City Hall and walk around picking up trash. Our 8th graders will earn service hours for their participation and we thank them for their assistance.

Goodwill
Start looking through your closets, garages, attics, under the bed, etc., because we want your stuff ! Throughout the summer our Marketing Team will be collecting unwanted, clean, sellable items for our Goodwill Donation drive which will take place every Sunday during summer vacation. Please pass the word to your family, friends, and neighbors that we will gladly receive their donations. Because of your generosity, last year we exceeded our goal of filling 1½ trucks. With these funds the Marketing Team can continue to help promote our school.
